The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will be rendering services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency claimed it can be alarmed concerning the substantial range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention experiences a higher influx of likely beneficiaries, that makes it complicated for your office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to allow the servicing of all buyers and raise usage of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
